We are looking for a Stores & Warehouse Operative to join our team based in Bardon Hill. We offer an excellent salary of up to £10.42 per hour dependent on experience and training, plus other benefits.
What will you be doing as our Stores & Warehouse Operative?
This isn’t your typical warehouse role; it is extremely varied where no two days are the same. You will need to be able to react quickly to changing priorities. You will be responsible for:

- Picking & packing goods for export and in-house build
- Handling high value parts and large components
- Ensuring health and safety requirements are followed
- Painting - spray and brush
- Shrink-wrapping
- Unloading deliveries
- General housekeeping
- Driving (vans and 7.5 tonne lorry) between our 3 sites
We have a huge variety of parts ranging from nuts and bolts, to large heavy steel castings and high value machined components. The majority of our orders require the packer to operate our overhead gantry crane and reach and counter balance forklift trucks. The successful applicant must be a competent and experienced crane and forklift operator. You must also hold a full UK driving licence.
Stores & Warehouse Operative working hours: 38.75 hours per week - Monday to Friday 8am-4.30pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
Annual bonus and 33 days holiday per year (inclusive of bank holidays).
What makes you our ideal Stores & Warehouse Operative?
You will be cooperative and helpful with previous experience of using an overhead crane, forklift, 7.5 tonne driving. Previous stores experience would be an advantage.
Further training would be provided for those with the right ambition and attitude.

- Enjoy practical work in an engineering environment – the role does involve physical activity
- Enthusiastic to learn new skills
- You must have a good communciation skills (written and oral)
- Flexible – you may be required to work overtime
